Our Lasallian Mission

Cristo Rey De La Salle is rooted in the Lasallian educational tradition inspired by St. John Baptist de La Salle, the patron saint of teachers. As a Lasallian community, we are called to provide a human and Christian education to young people, especially those who have been historically marginalized or underserved.

The Lasallian mission centers on five core principles that guide our daily work:

Faith in the Presence of God

We believe that God is actively present in each person and in our community. This belief shapes a culture of respect, compassion, and hope.

Concern for the Poor and Social Justice

We are committed to providing access to a high-quality, transformative education. Our mission calls us to stand with young people and families, ensuring they have the resources, support, and opportunities they deserve.

Inclusive Community

Rooted in mutual respect and belonging, we cultivate a community where every student is known, valued, and supported. We partner with families, educators, alumni, and community members to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Quality Education

Following the legacy of the Christian Brothers, we challenge students to reach their potential through rigorous academics, personalized support, and meaningful pathways toward college and career.

Respect for All Persons

We honor the dignity of every individual. This principle shapes how we teach, how we learn, and how we accompany one another in our shared journey.

At Cristo Rey De La Salle, the Lasallian mission is woven into everything we do—from our classrooms and community partnerships to our commitment to “to and through college” support. We strive to educate hearts, inspire minds, and transform lives in service of a more just and compassionate world
