Lasallian Student Leaders are students who are entrusted with specific leadership responsibilities within the school which include helping to plan and prepare liturgies and prayer services, dances, assemblies, rallies, Open Houses, and other student events.

Lasallian Student Leaders also act as the representative voice for the student body.  Often, faculty and staff rely on the opinions, assistance, and ambassadorship of Lasallian Student Leaders to help support a variety of student programming.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Commit to all meetings as designated by the Lasallian Student Leaders moderator;
  • Commit to attending all necessary Community Life and Admissions events as assigned;
  • Commit to being a positive ambassador of the school.

Requirements:

  • Good Academic and Corporate Work Study Program standing;
  • Excellent disciplinary and attendance record;
  • Consistently embodies the Lasallian Core Principles as a Mustang.

Benefits:

  • Able to place Lasallian Student Leaders organization and title and position on your resume for college;
  • Able to have the Lasallian Student Leaders moderator available to write a specific letter of recommendation for college or other opportunities you may encounter;

Expectations:

  • Commit to all meetings as designated by the Lasallian Student Leaders moderator – every Friday after school and other additional meetings as needed;
  • Failure to attend a maximum of 3 meetings per semester will result in probation and possible suspension from leadership roles. Any absences must be reported to Mr. Hernandez and Ms. Garcia;
  • Commit to attend and participate in a minimum of 2 events in the Fall, 3 events in the Spring – does not include set up/planning;
  • Commit to attending all necessary Community Life and Admissions events as assigned.
  • Commit to being a positive ambassador of the school;
  • Excellent disciplinary and attendance record;
  • Any severe disciplinary action, and/or multiple school or CWSP absences/tardiness may result in probation and/or suspension from leadership role;
  • Consistently embodies the Lasallian Core Principles as a Mustang.

Academics:

  • Good Academic and Corporate Work Study Program standing;
  • Students who have GPAs below 2.5 at the end of the quarter or are Off Track in 4 or more courses on Summit will be put on probation and suspension from leadership role until the GPA requirement has been met;
  • Dismissal from CWSP work site may result in a suspension from leadership role until replaced in a new work site.
