Ms. Shaun Leong is excited and honored to join CRDLS. She is looking forward to getting to know students and families and building community with them in the classroom and beyond. Ms.Leong has been involved with faith based education as a graduate of schools within the Diocese of Oakland. She started at Corpus Christi School, and graduated in 2008. She then went to Saint Mary’s College High School in Berkley and graduated in 2012. After high school, she then moved to New York City to attend Marymount Manhattan College, where she graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Communications and Graphic Design. When she returned to the Bay Area, she began teaching 2nd and 3rd at schools in the Diocese of Oakland and various public schools. Most recently, she graduated with a Masters of Education from Holy Names University in Oakland. In addition to teaching she also served as the Confirmation Coordinator for Corpus Christi Church and helped to prepare 2nd graders for First Communion and Reconciliation at Assumption School and Church. She is excited to return to a Lasallian school and teach in the community she grew up in. Outside of teaching, Ms. Leong enjoys walking her dogs, concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
