Max Napier earned his Masters in Secondary Education from Notre Dame University and the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Program. Through ACE he taught at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School in Atlanta, Georgia for two years. Returning to the Bay Area, Mr. Napier began working at KIPP: San Francisco College Prep in Hunters Point. From 2015-2020, he taught in both the English and History departments with a close eye on ELL and Sp.Ed. student supports. He also worked with students to start the school’s first Christian Club and provided space for student-run religious inquiry. Mr. Napier is an avid music, film, and literature fan, Overwatch and Overcooked player. He lives in Berkeley.
