Stewardship Update – As Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School closes out its fiscal launch year and prepares to open its doors to the inaugural class of 2022, we continue to be blessed with critical financial support from foundations and individual donors. During the last quarter of our fiscal year we received three transformative gifts. The first was an $800,000 investment in our innovative personalized learning curriculum from Silicon Schools Fund. This gift is over three years and will support general school operations. The second gift came from the Y & H Soda Foundation and is a four-year, $200,000 grant to support general school operations. Lastly, we received a generous four-year $500,000 pledge from an anonymous couple to support our scholarship/tuition assistance initiative for our students attending Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School. We are so very grateful to all the generous support we continue to receive as we embark on this incredible journey of providing a Catholic high school education to students and families in Oakland with limited economic means.
