Sheila Garcia is a born and raised Bay Area native and served at Lasallian ministries after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at St. Mary’s College of California. She served as Campus Minister at Cathedral High School in El Paso, Texas during her tenure as a Lasallian Volunteer. Most recently she has served as Director of Campus Ministry at newly affiliated Christian Brother school, St. John Paul II Academy, in Boca Raton, Florida. Sheila brings with her a great sense of passion for living, exemplifying and embodying the Lasallian principles taught to her by the Lasallian teachers that have shaped her as a Young Lasallian. As a life-long learner, she is driven and influenced by the vision of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and continues developing her interpersonal skills of working with and for young men and women she will be serving. Through the lens of faith, service and community, she hopes to bring a holistic, relational approach to reaching, uplifting and accompanying her students during their journey at Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School.
