AP Spanish Language Teacher

José Orozco was born and raised in the Central Coast where he attended St. Joseph High School. It was at St. Joseph during his Senior year that he felt a calling to join the Congregation of Josephites and serve the youth and Hispanic communities. For the past seven years, he has been a seminarian with the Josephites volunteering at St. Joseph High School, and serving as Co-Confirmation Director, High School Youth Group Coordinator, and Director of Children’s RCIA at St. Louis De Montfort Church. José is a 2020 Spanish Linguistics graduate of St. Mary’s College of California. He has recently made the difficult decision to depart the Congregation of Josephites but is very excited to join Cristo Rey De La Salle and their commitment to Lasallian Catholic learning through a community that educates young people to become men and women of faith, purpose, and service.
