College Counselor

Ms. Jessica Mederos, College Counselor: Ms. Mederos feels overjoyed and blessed to be able to join the CRDLS Community! She is originally from Southern California. She studied Business Administration and Spanish at Loyola Marymount University and then continued to earn her Master’s in School Counseling from CSU Long Beach. As a first-generation college student, she felt and lived through the challenges of being the first to go to college. This has been one of her main motivators to now serve as a College Counselor. She is  the daughter of two hard-working, Mexican immigrant parents who taught her the values of hard work, kindness, and generosity. Ms. Mederos looks forward to working with the Cristo Rey community to continue to do God’s work by helping our students graduate college-ready and aware of the importance of serving with faith and purpose in a world that has so much need for hope, peace, and social justice. Serving as College Counselor at CRDLS is a dream come true for her. She is excited for what the year ahead of us will bring as we prepare to celebrate the first CRDLS graduating class of 2022!
