Crís Alberto has been serving in the educational industry for 9 years from pre-k, k-12 and university level. Crís thrives to see the academic success of each student come to reality as they find their knowledge and understanding of their realities. Crís is a proud alum of the University of California, Merced graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. During their undergraduate career, Crís helped establish the first cultural center at UC Merced as the appointed commissioner on diversity for the campus, organizing cultural and social justice events, while expanding the center to obtain resources and paid student interns. Crís has instructed many seminars on social justice issues through sociological lences at a highschool and college level.
