On Friday, August 23, our Students Associates learned about lab safety!
Mrs. Arreola, our Science Teacher, provides a hands-on laboratory class experience for our Student Associates. She takes a great deal of time and attention to set up many laboratory activities that could require the use of hazardous chemicals. Because of this, safety in the science classroom is always her #1 priority. To ensure a safe science classroom, she developed a list of rules to provide to our students in a student safety contract. These rules must be followed at all times. Students are to keep a copy in their notebook as a constant reminder of the safety rules.
