What is your life purpose?  What is your deepest longing, your dream of yourself at 14, 25 or 75 years of age?  What skills and what parts of yourself are you still working on to improve your well-being, relationships and community?  What’s your work in the world?  What’s the truth of your life?

At our best, each of us asks these questions of ourselves every day, hoping to be and become the transformed human beings that God desires us to be.  Our founder and inspiration, St. John Baptist de la Salle said that God desires “that all of us come to the knowledge of truth.”  This is our work at Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School:  accompanying young people in their journey to lead lives of faith, purpose and service.

This month, our work began in earnest with our Alpha Summer Institute, welcoming our students and families to our newly renovated campus. On Friday, August 3rd, we will kick-off our first annual Draft Day where our founding Corporate Partners will be introduced to the student associates who they will supervise and mentor over the coming academic year.

We look forward to all of you joining the journey as we discover answers to these questions of life together.
