CRDLS was honored to host 8th Grade students from all over the East Bay on our newly renovated St. Elizabeth campus this semester. Each week, students and faculty were able to get a sample of what it means to be a Mustang for the day.
Students were invited to campus to listen to our daily guest speakers from various industries, participate in student lead tours, and have an opportunity to finish up the application process.
From St. Elizabeth Middle School and Berkeley Maynard Academy to Urban Promise Academy and Northern Light School, the faces of our guest students were beaming as we showcased the the archives of photos from St Elizabeth’s centuries-long history in the heritage room. Students observed class rooms and they were impressed by our unique personalized learning curriculum and encouraged by its potential to teach them the way that they learn best. By the end of it, they were clamoring to take a photo against the Lasallian Blue Wall and declare their intentions to become Future Mustangs!
We can’t wait to see the path laid out for these young people!
